Gloria knows firsthand that where you're treated first can make all the difference.

As incoming President of the Rotary Club and with a thirty-year career as a nurse, Gloria has a unique perspective on caring. So when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she turned to experts she could trust. Her doctors delivered the most current treatment, kept her informed and helped her with where to turn and what to do.
Her prognosis is excellent and she continues to receive care from Florida Hospital DeLand Cancer Institute, while she continues to offer care to the community.

Sue Landsittel Cancer Survior Image

Sue's high blood pressure turned out to be a godsend.

Ironically, discovering her high blood pressure led to Sue's doctor ordering the physical that found her breast cancer. And although she walked in afraid, her oncology team immediately went to work, answering her questions in plain English, with smiles on their faces and kind consideration, just like family. In her words, the treatment she received couldn't have been any better. Sue's good fortune continues, and thanks to her care team, she's doing very well.
